Can someone help me with my wirless connection.............

I'm on my laptop using my wireless card that I pay $69.95 a momnth for, but for some reason after a few minutes the conection is dormet. So I typr a post hit send and it will not send until I open another connection to connect. I have called verizon and spent hours on the phone, they sent me a new card, but it is still happening. It is even more furstrating when I'm trying to list items on ebay and hit the list button and the connection is dormat, if I hit the back button it deletes the photos. Please help I'm ready to throw my laptop out the window.

WMG - they are clearly on a GPRS or whatever it is called system.... at least at that dollar rate I hope so! You should, at that price, have tech support on tap for this and go there... seriously.... I trialed such a service from orange in the UK four years back - it as so awful I returned it for a refund.

are you sitting near alot of metal or a radio tower or anything else that may cause interference..refridgerators also can cause interference as well as many other house hold appliances..

The only other time I have seen this happen is when you are upstairs and your router is downstairs. There are a lot of wiring interferences and the connection will drop due to that problem. The signal from the router may also be weak when you first get on, check that first and if it is strong, move your laptop to be in line with the router whether you are upstairs or somewhere else in the house. It does not seem like it should be a problem though. I use wireless next door at my Moms and it has to go through many walls in my home and hers and mine works fine. I think it depends on the router and the card.
