I have one in my laptop, one in my husbands desktop, one in my living room, one more in the living room in the form of the playstation2, and one in my bedroom and one in my daughter's room. I guess that makes 6 total. We like to watch movies a lot so we need to be covered.

Well, you realize that computers come with a DVD drive also. :)
So, that would be three DVD drives on the computers...one in the master bedroom, one in the front living room, and a portable. Total of 6. But I think we need another in the Den. Currently, the computer is hooked up to the surround sound system and to the T.V. through a S-Link. So when we want to watch DVDs in the den, we play it through the computer. But that is a pain in the butt sometimes because we have to power up the computer first. It would be nice to have another one in the den for when the kids in the living room can watch one thing and the older kids can watch another in the den. With the surround sound, it is not possible because they drown out the other movie placing down the hall.
