They like when you do up a chart and put stickers on it. when they do all of there chores and at the end of the week give a little bit of money for complete work done.that will make them very happy.

cause i also dont keep my room clean
when the room is dirty i feel so cozy in it.

That's a tough one. I have little to success with my almost 4-year-old and her room. So, it has come to the deperate measures point. I take a large lawn bag and tell her whatever is not put away goes in the trash. Of course, at this point it works and she gets right to the task. I am pretty happy about that, becuase actually tossing her toys would break my heart. But, I WILL do it if we come to that point.

You have to teach them that cleaning is a selfish thing! So that they will clean because they want a lovely space. You have to show them how having things organised can make them easy to find and that they need to respect their belongings. So it is not actually about picking things up and putting them away but more about creating space to enjoy, try to look at it from a different perspective and make it fun!
