Love at first sight? Second, Third, Fourth, ETC...

Ok, so I've always thought that the online dating scene was a joke but in my attempts to meet someone outside the local bars and clubs, I failed miserably. I've recently met a woman online who is more than I thought possible. She is as close to perfection as I had ever thought possible. We love the same type of music, order the EXACT same foods, have the same sense of fashion, enjoy the same kinks, have the same sick sense of humor that most find offensive and the list goes on and on and I don't want to bore anyone with ALL the details. Every day we find something new that we both love, hate or have in common. I don't even have this much in common with my long time friends. It's as though we are a male and female version of one entity, it's kinda creepy. So on to the problem. I've never been this happy and I don't know how to deal with it. Seriously. I'm scared but anxious to pursue this relationship. I fell in love far to quickly and I wasn't even looking for it. I've had long standing relationships spanning over 5 years and those were bad enough when they ended, imagine if this were to ever end. My god, I'd be destroyed. If anyone has ever loved like this, been in a similar situation, or has loved this hard and lost it, PLEASE let me know. Thank you in advance.

Sound like you found the other part of your soul, the ying to your yang. Id say go for it take your time with the relationship and do not rush into things and you will be fine.

Just take it ever slowly. I have been in a similar situation. My wife and I dated for over a year (online chatting)and then when we met, it was love at first sight. But we took over a year to propose to each other. WE eventually married after 3 more years. Not everybody is lucky as we were. I have heard of horror stories too.. so the best possible way is to take it slowly.

I really am trying to take it slow but things are already moving so fast. I don't want to back off but I must force myself to, at least a little. Tonight is the first night that I haven't seen her since we've started dating and honestly, it's driving me crazy.lol

I'm not the best at giving advice when it comes to love but all I can say is stay positive. Don't start thinking of what could go wrong or what might happen if it ended. Think of all the fun you can have and all the things you guys can share. You just may have found your soul-mate if you believe in that. Most people go through life without having the chance of meeting their soul-mate. All I can say is just stay with it and have fun... its almost cliche to say its better to have loved and lost than not at all; but, its the truth.
