Hard to say, of course.Democrats tend to nominate who they like. Republicans tend to nominate who can win.I think that the recent Democrat gains in Congress set the stage for the GOP nominating a moderate for President in 2008, and if that's the case, they'll likely win.
Rick Santorum apparently lacks the ability to hold down a single state, what could possibly lead you to believe he can win a national election?
Sam Brownback is a long shot, at best. George Allen? do you even read/watch the news?
McCain is the GOP front-runner, vs. Hillary or Obama.

I think this should truely be one of the most interesting elections in the last few years. I don't honestly see a true republican front runner. McCain may be but I aint sure he has a chance.
I am an "open minded Democrat", there is a new term for you. I don't think I could vote for Barak Hussein Obama. I likely would have to vote for Hillary although she scares me too.
Being from PA I do have a strong liking for Rick Santorum, but don't know, at this point, if it were between him and Hillary who I would vote for.
Hillary if she should run likely will get most of the female vote and probably would also rake in the minority vote.
I have also heard Rudy Julianni's name tossed in the ring. Rudy against Hillary really makes it interesting. Where does New York lay?
Your guess is as good as mine.
