We decide well in advance as to where we should go for dinner. Lunch is at home with slicing of the cake. Previous day goes in cleaning exercise just in case some one drops by otherwise its a hush hush affair. Only family members.

generally, as this year, my husband is not at home, since he works 700 km far from me, so i pass my birthday with my babies.
they gave me some flowers… but i celebrate it with my parents in Rome last week!
