I prefer creatine...Whey protein also is good but I like creatine and whenever I train, I use creatine because I get good results quickly with it but you need to train real hard and have a good diet.,

Even though I'm a firm believer in keeping bodybuilding natural and not using supplements, I think that whey protein would be more effective. It comes straight from milk and its more pure than any other supplement out there on the market. Creatine is affective for strength gains and muscle building, but you need to educate on how and when to take it or it will do serious damage to your liver. When I do weight training, I make sure I get proper nutrition after words so I won't get weaker.

Protein is essentail for muscle growth but creatine can help with muscle recovery. People laugh at me when I tell them how much protein I consume a day and say that it is a waste to go 1.5 times my body weight but hey, it is what works for me. If you are going for growth I would have to say that as long as you are giving your muscles enough rest after a workout you can get by without using a post recovery product like creatine but it doesn't hurt to add some to a shake or sugar free Jell-O.
