our labarador is pregnant again and this should be a cause of excitement for the whole family but it's not. see, everytime she delivers them, 2-3 days after, she either eats them or sits on them. we've tried one time to take her puppies away and cared for them ourselves but they got weaker and thinner. so, we had to return them to the mom. now, we're starting to worry. it won't be long till she gives birth coz he tummy's big already. what could we do?

Well I have never heard of that before have you spoke to the Vet about it??? If not I think you need to speak to him as that is very strange indeed you might have to remove the Pupps as soon as they are born and try to feed them but I think you better talk to a Vet

My Nana has a small dog and usually if something is wrong with her puppies she eats them or sits on them. It's sort of a way of the mom dog protecting her pups. Mayeb she knows there are something wrong with them? I mean it is kinda NASty for her to eat all of them. Maybe your dog is psychotic?

i'm beginning to think so, too! but eating her pups is the only indication of such abnormality. otherwise, she's okay. she's even more behaved than our german shepherd. i remember her first batch, she didn't touch them at all. they grew up healthy. but after that, she started getting rid of them already.
