If you are young and unmarried, you must have in your mind the image of an ideal husband or wife.Is romantic love the most important condition for marriage?

In the first place it should be, cause its so hard to be with someone to whom you're not romantically inlove. But it should not be the sole reason, there are ample factors that should be considered when approaching marriage life. Spiritually, Emotionally and Financially are those things should be look upon if couple is already prepared considering that marriage should last for a lifetime.

No,i don't think so.Some couples are romantic,but marriage need many things ,money, belief and relationships with family,those can destroy romantic love if you don't take them seriously.

well i remember trying to picture what i would want in a spouse. i guess i used to judge the guys i dated by this... of course love plays a mojor role, but not the only thing. i wanted someone with a great personality, someone who i thought would make a great father mostly, someone who had physical, emotional, and mental qualities i would like in my children. i seemed to have chosen the right guy, because my children are the cutest thing in the world.
