Should Bush drop a Nuke on the Middle East and get it over with?

Ok, here we go again! Bush, son of George Bush Sr., the former president who couldn't get Saddam out of power while he was in office, went back to Iraq to finish what his father had started. Now it seems as if GB Jr. is just as incompetent as his father before him was/is. He invaded a smaller country, now doesn't know what to do with it. He is getting our men killed on a grand scale, fighting an unconventional war that he will never win. In WWII, when we couldn't beat the Japenese in a "fair" fight, we simply dropped a Nuke on them and the war was over. Granted, we killed many innocent people, but it got the job done. So, here we are in a similar situation, except this time, instead of fighting a war under the auspices of democracy...Bush just wants Iraq's oil, and Cheney wants the billions of dollars he will make from rebuilding the country. That being said and understood to be fact, should Bush, who just wants the oil, drop a Nuke on the middle east and get it over with? Wouldn't it be easier to just force Bush out of office, bring our troops back home, and let the Iraqis take care of their own business? To hell with Bush and his greed for oil! It is obvious that most Americans do not agree with Bush's tactics. Dropping Nukes on Japan solved nothing, except to prove that we were stronger (militarily) than the Japenese at that time. Haven't we killed enough innocent Iraqis already? I say NO! No more war in Iraq! Let them be and bring our troops back home NOW!

Hi! I agree with you and I certainly feel your frustration. I knew a former neighbor boy who was in Iraq and I have a friend who lost her son in Iraq. And for what? For a "war" we had no right to start. Anyway, that aside, no, I don't believe the US should "nuke" anyone. The middle eastern countries are very close together and a lot of innocent countries, people who have nothing to do with this "fiasco" would be devastated. There is no need to cause more useless destruction. Peace!

Unfortunately thanks to your president's actions Americans will never be able to leave Iraq. Belive it or not, the USA will occupy Iraq for decades to come. It is a very sad and sorry state of affairs. I cannot believe GW was voted in twice!!!

Unfortunately, I believe you are correct. And I can't believe he was voted in the FIRST TIME! Let alone TWICE! Maybe we'll get a woman president, or a black president, or a less greedy ANY president next time who will get us out of there! Thnks for posting.

That's another issue in itself. Was he really "voted in" legitimately or was there some tinkering with the ballots that resulted in his "election?" I doubt seriously that he was actually elected either time.

Don't worry, cutie! Bush is not that stupid. Nuclear radiation would spoil his plans for the oil over there.

What? To cover up for his mistake? NO way! I wish we could find out the truth about him and wish he would get called out on this government conspiracy. 9/11 happened because of him, by him and our government.

Aw! No chuckles here! Just same old, same old mainstream political bias and propaganda! I think Bush had every intent of dealing with both Iran and Iraq, that tenuous balance and check of evils. But alas! Not many stood up to help! And what with the hexing of the Iraq endeaver from the beginning... Anyway, no one will ever do that again.. so I guess all that's left is to work out world peace with despots and dictators wanting to wipe out other nations. If they'd just get their genocides over with that is... Guess we'll all go along for the ride :))

You title was pretty misleading! I thought you were all for Bush's and his greedy and evil policies, but after reading what ou have to write, I wholly agree with what you say! Bush is only concerned with 3 things: Oil, Power, and Fame, and neither of these 3 have any benefit to the world, or even to Americans, except for makeing the rich richer and the poor poorer. Bravo for taking up the right stand in a world deceived by the politics of Bush and his evil cronies!

frankly mr stupid bush has in his dementia opened a pandora's box. and it might help if indeed he did nuke the middle east, becoz he cant make matters any worse than they are. and he will be remembered as the idiot who pushed the world over the brink.

The future generations will talk about our period as the historical period with the clowns with power in their hands. And I'm not talking of Bush only, but of most of the world's governments.

Bush and his men - i just dont like him and his actions.
if US drops a nuke on iraq, us will definitely lose the battle. the whole world gets united and go aginst the US. US will be sanctioned, exports restricted, its all non-cooperation all the way. if fact, us lost more than what it gained from iraq. Oil has burnt the Bush! badly!!definitely he is not a wise man. wht abot his aides? they too are fools. overpride is harmful, bush!

What really sucks is we don't need the oil! Automobile engines have been devloped that run on plain WATER and the inventors were given hush money and swept under the rug. Is that sick or what?! Plus, we're making headway with soybean fuel or whatever it's called and other forms of fuel. We DO need to put a halt to terrorism, though. That's for sure.

The problem is that alternative ways of combustibles for automobiles will never be put in use until there's petrol. Remember that the richest multinational powers of the world are petrol-related. It's petrol economy which controls the whole world.

I say AMEN to that!! Our country needs to address it's own third world problems here and leave the others problems to solve for themselves. If they want to kill each other do it. Our government can't even stop the killing in thier own homeland and they want to stop anothers. Hypocrites the lot of them.
