Most years I do enjoy Christmas. This year the only thing that will be good about it is when my family and friends come to visit. I'm just very depressed this year.

Hi! I think in some cases, you're right. The majority of people love the holidays and look forward to them. However, there are those for whom the holidays just bring pain. If they have no family or don't have money to buy all the gifts society puts the pressure on them to buy, then yes, the holidays result in pain and frustration.

This is so sad.When the program was running I could not nhelp from crying.There are so many lonely people in the world.I think we should really focus on these people.I found otu I have a 89 year old neighbor that has no one to help her.I will make sure I spend tim ewiht her.She is thr best women I have ever met.

Sad but true fact that more people suffer from depression during the holiday season. Much of the reason stems from lack of sunlight. Think of how your body feels when you have been outside in the sunshine. I love the summer months. My spirits are at an all time high. Deprive your body of the sun and the mood changes. Artificial SAD lighting may help.

This is true in a lot of cases. I work at the hospital and it always seems that during the holiday season is when we get some of the sadest cases in. Right now we have a 19 year old who is paralized from the neck down because he was wrestling with one of his buddies and landed on his head :( I feel so bad for the kid and his family/friends. However, I feel for the most part it brings joy! I love Christmas.. it is my favorite holiday :)

Yes and no. Yes I enjoy getting together with family members and having a good meals, good conversation and exchanging gifts. No because this year money has been very tight and I haven't been able to do everything I wanted to this year. Presents aren't everything but they help to say thank you for putting up with my mood swings this year.

Well, I love the holidays. The only thing I hate is I never seem to have money when Christmas comes around. Even then it's enjoyable to me.

i don't enjoy my christmas holiday this year. i have financial problems, family problems and even with my studies, i am very busy with our thesis... so do i have the reason to enjoy this holiday?

That must have been quite an interesting programme! Christmas can get really hectic if we allow it too. A lot of people get depressed over the festive season for various different reasons. I think perhaps lonliness is a reason, and also the longing for family and friends who, if they had not passed on, would have been with us!

Yes I do enjoy the Holidays Most like Christmas day it is my best holiday because this day born the Jesus and he is the sun of the god I believe them.

i enjoy my holidays by working on mylot and watching tv playing outside with my friends and by playuing pc games i take my life as cool as no one as in exams days i dont touch my books only lollzzz...!!!
