What do you think about this quote?"America is not perfect, but it's much better than anywhere else in the world". - Catherine Zeta Jones.
I think this a very rude and conceited thing to say, which I don't find true, there are other places that would be much better to visit or live!

I don't agree with you. I don't think that this is conceited or rude. She's not originally from the US, so I'd venture to say that she's well traveled and has been to different countries. I know plenty of people who have traveled far and wide, and say that they wouldn't want to live anywhere but the US. It is the land of opportunity, and we do have a LOT of freedom, etc. that other countries do not share.

I guess you have a point there. We have more freedom but also more red tape and bureaucracy than any other country in the world, and the ratio between the rich and poor is hideous.

sorry, I live in the good old USA & wouldn't want to live anywhere else. there are a few places I'd like to visit, but the United States (with all it's faults) is still my home.
I better stop here.

I agree that America is a great place to live, I like it, too, I just found it conceited that CZJ said it was better than any other place in the world.
