Have you or will you donate to local charities during the holidays?

Those that need a little help are not only in third world countries, but sometimes in our own backyard or neighbourhood. It is so easy, takes so little time and no money to be kind and thoughtful. Perhaps an elderly neighbour would enjoy a visit or an ailing friend a bit of time to help her with some household chores. You do not need to give material things but an act of kindness is always greatly appreciated.

I donate to both local and non-local charities year round. These organizations need help more than just once a year!

not much on local charities, the rich people donates there (some just to avoid paying taxes). I do it in our own neighborhood and not just during holidays (i do more during these times) what I do is do is I set aside some money every payday and do some groceries. there are a lot of street children here in our place.
