i am playing this game since 98...and i never get bored...i like the ideea in this version of affliates clubs...more and more real it gets

I have about the same experience as yours in Champ Man / Footbal Manager and I think the best of the series was CM 01-02. Probably because Roma was quite a challenge in Italy and the CL and because the format of the CL with 2 group stages which really allowed only the best teams to progress. If I consider this well, I think that season was the most powerful season in the Champions League; maybe Barcelona is stronger today than the 2001 team, but Real Madrid, Lazio, AS Roma, Manchester Utd, Arsenal, Celtic, Bayern Munich, etc... they were all stronger in 2001 than they are today.
