Hannukah is a Jewish festival holiday. It literaly translates from Hebrew to English as "Dedication". Because after fighting off the Syrian Greeks and resecuring the Temple they rededicated it. It is an eight day holiday because during the fighting the Jewish people had missed the celebration of a harvest holiday and had to make it up, and the make up became another holiday.

Hi! Thank you! We are having a wonderful Hanukkah season. My little daughter is 4 and she is just loving it. My parents will be here tomorrow to celebrate with us, too. Happy Hanukkah!

I'm having a good Chanukah so far... too bad we are only doing one day this year, we my dad has finals, I have tests, and my bro is moved out, lol, so takes a little longer to find time. Hope your Chanukah is great. Who are you celebrating with?
