I absolutely HATE people like this. They make me absolutely revolted and sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, my future in-laws are these kinds of people. I met my fiance when he was 19. He was still living with his parents so that he could go to university. He'd been going for two and a half years already. His brother was almost 15 and wsa still in high school. About the same time I starting seeing my fiance, his brother got a hgirlfriend too. SHe was a year older than him. Skip ahead about a year. The girlfriend drops out of high school and tries to talk the brother into doing the same, but his parents refuse to allow him to. Now that she is no longer in school, she now drops by their house compltely unannounced and uninvited and just sits there all day playing computer games. She was a horrible person who never had a nice word to say to anyone, constantly stole food and items from their house and even screamed at his parents from time to time. Skip ahead another year. She tells everyone she's 6 months pregnant. She had just turned 18 and the brother was about to turn 17. His parents jumped for joy! In an instant, everything she had ever done to anyone simply disappeared. She was suddenly their precious daughter-in-law and the future mother of their wonderful little grandbaby. They made the brother drop out of high school immediately. They let her move in with them. And then, they kicked my fiance out of the house with no money, not job, and no place to go, while he was still in school. He is now stuggling desperately to keep a full-time job so that he can pay the bills, while he still goes to school full-time. The brother and his girlfriend were married the month after my fiance was kicked out of the house. They still live with his parents, the baby is now 7 months old, neither of them have ever had a job, and niether of them have finished school. She still plays computer games all day long while the brother and his parents take care of the baby. Not to mention the fact that they never once praised my fiance for working so hard to finish college, nor have they ever even acknowledged the fact that I am going to marry their son. They're whole lives now revolve around "the precious little family". They don't give a d@mn about us.

Are you talking about the young lady who won American Idol? I believe her name was Fantasia? If that's who you're talking about, I don't think that anyone worships her. She won that contest because she was talented and deserved to win. She also appears to be a very good mom, and I believe that she will now make something of herself and a good life for herself and her child.
