some of us maybe wondering why most of the resto businesses are short-lived. aside from the simple reason of intending to make a business out of a fad, here is a life cycle of a typical restaurant/food shop: 1. Grand Opening - big and delicious servings. 2. Realizes lots of people are swarming over their food. 3. Let’s cut on some ingredients. Increase food extenders please. 4. Ok, a lot of them still bites on my cardboard-tasting meals. 5. After eating his once favorite meal, a disillusioned customer establishes a new and improved version of that business. 6. Shuts down.

I think some restaurants close down because of mismanagement and being stagnant.when a restaurant doesn't offer anything new, customers will get bored.when customers don't come too often the management will freak out and do desperate measure to save the restaurant, which often results to fighting and poor management.until later, the restaurant will just collapse.I think that for a business grow,it should grow together with its customers.

How true! They did not know that what they served will be the criteria if the costumer is going back in their restaurant or not. Sometimes, greed makes them do this and eventually they pay for the greed.
