Witchcraft, what do u know about this?

Witchcraft - Witchcraft, in various historical, religious and mythological contexts, is the use of certain kinds of alleged supernatural or magical powers. A witch is a person who practices witchcraft, and may be male or female. In historical, mythological and demonological contexts a male "witch" is more frequently termed a wizard, sorcerer, warlock, or simply a magician. Male witches who practice as such as part of a Wiccan or Pagan belief system disapprove of the term 'Warlock' as the accepted meaning of the word is 'Oath breaker,' or one who has abandoned the coven.

The term witchcraft can have positive or negative connotations depending on cultural context; for instance, in post-Christian European cultures it has historically been associated with evil and the Devil, while most modern practitioners see it as beneficent and morally positive.

Anyone here who practiced witchcraft? Is it good or bad. This interests me in the past days and I am not sure if this is conflict of being a Christian. That is, I want to know your opinion if this is good or bad.

In my belief system there is a positive and negative side to everything. If you do mostly positive things within your life than you will be rewarded in the end positively. If you what you have done throughout your life was negative in nature (ex. you continually harmed humans, killed animals continually for sporting purposes only) than at the end you would have negative things happen to you. As for there being magic, all you have to do is open your eyes (and I mean really open your eyes) and look around you and really take in what lives on this Earth! I don't believe in magic persay, but I believe that everything consists of a form of energy and it's the energy that can be "tapped" into to help heal a person or in times of need help sooth a person. When used correctly you can do a lot of good things with it and it don't harm anyone. I shutter at the thought of ever using this "energy" in a negative way, cause it really can get a person into trouble big time.

I too am a practising pagan, I do practise Witchcraft, and I believe that magic is both good and bad. Which one it is depends on the intent of the witch and the direction in which that witch wants his/her magic to go. (hahaha try saying THAT three times fast!)

I am Wiccan. I practice witchcraft every day and it is not bad at all. We worship nature. All we want to do is live in harmony with everyone else. Instead of going to a church to worship we will go outside and worship.

I never practiced witchcraft and I don't want to offend anybody, so I'd rather not answer the yes/no question. But if your are asking whether it is in conflict with your beliefs in being a Christian, that is totally up to you, buddy. Search within yourself for the answer. For those who claim to practice the craft, and doing myLot at the same time, you rock!
