Bob Marley has greatly influenced some young artists to speak and stand up for their rights."Emancipating from mental slavery".Local artists in our place are going rastafarian.

he was an activist, he was singing for a cause. listen to his songs like "buffalo soldier", "get up stand up", etc. but of course for lovesongs, the popular ones would be "waiting in vain", "no boyfriend no cry", er "no woman, no cry" i should say :)

jah rastafarian..it can be helped that whenever you hear someone jamming along to a reggae song or when their simply talking about raggae, his name automatically comes to mind. So what it sort of boil down to is: Reggae = Bob Marley.^^
