what is a tag

Can someone please tell me why they ask you to add a tag, and what difference does it make if i do nor i dont.

Tags are the words which helps the People to search the content what they require. Itf you give a related to your topic. It helps People To search easily by typing the topic or tag.

If you writing about a subject and you put a tag on it. Then you will be connected with someone else that is talking about the same subject. Look at the bottem of this page. there are subjects of the samething and thats how the connect you is thur the tags.

I have seen on MYLOT somewhere that you should use 2 or 3 tags as it helps your earnings too, not sure if that is correct or not as there are no guidelines here.
