Do you go places you feel obligated to go?

I’d like to know what you do when you have to attend a function that you’d rather not. Is there anything you come up with to bow out quickly? Please share in detail so I may use in the future. Thanks :) Click on the link ( http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/436602.aspx ) to check out the post that started this one and see some of the other topics you may be interested in talking about.

I always get stuck going where I don't want to go. That is part of being married for me. I usually complain about it like a baby up until we actually get there. I know not very mature on my part lol. If it is at my in-laws I just walk home when I have had enough (they live 3 streets away). We will use our newborn as an excuse if we have had enough or even our older 2 girls.

lol just walk home that's funny!!! Well, 3 streets away seems mighty close for the in-laws. Kids as an excuse works wonders I will definately add that one to my list LOl

Unfortunately, we are all obligated at one time or another. When I must attend smething I prefer not to, I ake a mental vacatin while at the function. I think of where else I'd like to be and what I'd like to be doing. Try it

No I don't. Even if I feel I am oblige to attend to some functions and places if I don't feel like I am going, I don't go. But if I have some important thing to do in that place, I will go of course.
