Is Bob Marley a good example?

From what i know, Bob Marley was a pacifist. From one point of view we have a good example, but i also know that he smoked a lot of weed:P, which i think is not a good example for a lot of young kids! So.... what do you think?

his works are great but i found him as bad example in terms of his cleanliness.did you know that they found thousands of lice in his hair? but still he's my idol.
