What do you think of the voice recordings you get when calling a company?

Don't you just hate when you call your local cable provider, phone company, or other utility provider for help and you have to go through a series of prompts..and then after getting to a person they tell you .."I'm sorry, I will have to transfer you to another department." and you have to sit and listen to the most awful music ever while you wait..
I wonder if the music is to encourage you to hang up.

answering services or automative responses take you on a merry-go-round and leave you dizzy..

There are a number of times whne I have hung up before I ever got to the right department, and others where they cop an earful just for dilly dallying around. I detest being stuffed around, which is exactly what they are doing. Most of the people that work there are so incapable it isnt funny so I usually demand to speak to the manager whenever I finally get put through to a real person. The music is horrendous I agree...

Sounds like me..Usually I am a very patient person but when I get people who say " Mam, I know how you feel, but there is nothing wrong on our end" If there wasn't anything wrong I wouldn't call..I would hate to fill their shoes..but if they can't assist us..why have them answering the customer service calls.?+
