I live in India, and here Paypal is not very common. In order that our Pay Pal checks be processed, do we have to open a dollar account or normal account. Also, what details have to be submitted to the Pay Pal site , to open an account. Many of you are working with Pay Pal, please guide me.

A guy on my friends list is from India and he says that E Gold works with Paypal, so that might be worth a try. I'll look up his discussion tag and come back and let you know what it is, so that you can have a look at what he said. brb.

You're very welcome... I'm back at last. This person is in the Phillipines, not India but his country doesn't have PayPal, so he looked for an alternative and he found that E Gold works in his country. His name in here is Madonna143, so if you go to his profile, and look on page 2 or 3, you will find what he wrote. It might be worth checking into E Gold to see whether they do actually have that in India.

just open an account in paypal by giving your id to which you are using for crediting your account.paypal pays to indian members through check.but i think it should be more than 150 dollars to ask for withdrawal.they will charge some processing fee also for that.check the faq of paypal to get more details.

You can go through the paypal's user agreement and FAQ. Here they have furnished all details required for us. Just spend some time reading through the paypal site, so that you will understand easily...

Thanks for posting. Actually, I did go to the Pay Pal site and read its FAQ. No mension of "type of account" is there. Also, I have not dealt much with banks, I do have an account, but it is managed by my father. I just want to know the procedure of payment.
