i and a friend of mine have a rough plan... we've decided on starting a movement, where people from all over the world would protest FOR tibetans .. i mean, it really doesn't take much to realise that if they themselves came up with protest marches, there are high chances that china would crush the movement, but i doubt if the chinese would be able to do anything to a few thousand 'foreign' citizens.. not to mention, even the press will give us attention.. what do you guys think? is it feasible? any ideas?

Would you have to do it IN Tibet? I'd love to go there, but I just don't have that kind of money.

welll.. we're talking about a movement that would actually make a difference to the political situation.. protests held elsewhere (and mostly by tibetans) would only be crushed, but something attended by say thousands of international volunteers would definitely get the world to sit up and notice.. that's the plan, and sooner or later, it will happen

You should join Amnesty International ... it's a worldwide group of like minded people who join together to campaign against oppression and hardship .. through them you can send letters to heads of state, regarding the unfairness of their countries laws or illegal actions ... I've been a member for years and I believe Tibet is a part of their recent campaigns ...
