Paralysis , Pension and Suicide

My daughter and her fiance have a friend of about 35yrs old. He was paralysed when involved in an accident at the age of 16yrs. Recently he has left work, cashed in his pension and is spending on a lot of fun things. He says when the money is finished he is going to commit suicide. He planned this a couple of months ago and so far he has done everything he said he would do. I think he needs help. His friends say he commit the final act. What would you do.
