Are you a tight wad? / myLot

i am! i use to get so aggrivated as a young child about my dad being so tight about everything. i catch myself now being just like him! i will find any way to save a little money! anyone else?

i definitely am..i have to be with just 1 income, and there's never enough money to pay all the bills right on time. I shop thrift stores and yard sales. The way I look at it, why spend $20 on one item if I can get more items with the same amount of money? No one knows where my clothes came from (I buy decent clothes at thrift stores) and almost everything in my house came from yard sales, thrift stores, or was given to me. I was this way when my kids were little..I wouldn't pay $50 for a pair of tennis shoes for them (name brand) when I knew they would be worn out or outgrown in 3 months time...it just doesn't make sense for me to pay high prices for items that I can get cheaper...

I try to find the best bargains and if we don't need something then I don't get it but I don't think I'm a tightwad like some ppl are. !!HAPPY EASTER!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I love saving money, but I'm not a tight wad. My bf on the other hand is. He gets me so mad at him because he always argues with me when I spend money. He tells me I shop to much and I need to save and not spend.
