Are You A Picky Eater?

Are you a picky eater and does it get on your family's nerves? My husband's family are snoopy and picky eaters and it drives me crazy sometimes! Fortunately for me, my husband is not picky, but when we have family get togethers he wants me to cook the same food item different ways so that it suits everyone in his family. I refuse to do it. I will make the dish one way and that's it. If they don't like it, then I figure they don't have to eat it. Most of his family likes to eat foods that taste really bland - no spices, just plain boring. For example, I make really good stuffing balls for the holidays, but I am not asked to take them to his family's gatherings anymore because I put seasonings, onions, and celery in my stuffing. They just want plain filling - to me they might as well just hand me a piece of butter bread because that is basically what their stuffing amounts to. I was curious to see if anyone else felt the same way as I do and if you have picky eaters in your family.

I am just such a picky eater! In part I'd have to blame my mother. As a single mother she really didn't have time to make a lot so I ended up eating mainly canned or frozen foods. When she did cook, I enjoyed it. When I met my wife she constantly complained how picky I was. I don't like most condiments so when I got to McD's I always have to order a plain burder, just cheese and bacon (etc). General stuff like that. Slowly I began to try other foods at the behest of my wife and now I am proud to say I am not nearly as picky. It's funny because when I cook I'm always reminded how "bland" my meals taste. I guess it's a testament to my pickiness!

Picky or not if they don't like what I made I am sorry but go find food from somewhere else. I'm not a picky eater.
