I think the president of the usa has recognised the incipient evil that is politicised islamic expansionism and believes this should be contained or stamped out wherever it mau occur. Also he recognises that both India and Pakistan are neuclear powers what hope for the world if one of them starts believing they will get 7 virgins a night in paradice if they kill an unbeliever, what if its 60,000,000 unbelievers? I think the role is therefore as firefighter to ensure this problem does not escalate in to something that niether india or pakistan can control
