What is the nature of reality? Is the world real, or does it exist only in our minds? How could we tell?

Well, first off the matrix is obviously not real (its a movie) And there really is no 100% solid answer to reality. For instance. Have you ever wondered that if what you see as a tree appears to somebody else as a fish or something? Or that when you say "hi" to somebody it might sounds like "uls" (yes i made it up). I wonder that sometimes. But there is no way of telling because if in fact that were the case (which i doubt) there would be no real way of telling. Humans only use about 10% of their brain capacity in a lifetime, which leads to the question "what if we could access 100% of our minds?" I think we could do some pretty sick stuff if we could do that!
