Just a bit of difference of opinions which seems to have happened to me today. In a practical anatomy test I was asked:
(i) What the nerve supply to the diaphragm was.
I had been told be one doctor that it was ONLY the phrenic nerves and that there was some debate over the fact that the sensory nerves were from the lower 6 ribs. I was then marked incorrect by another for sayng only the phrenic nerves as my response. Which is correct? Is there any debate?
(ii) The spinal attachment of the crura
I was told by one doctor that it is attached to L2,3,4 on right & L2,3 on left.
I was told I was wrong in the test ant that it is L1,2,3 on right & L1,2 on left. Which one is right???!
