Does anyone know of a way of dealing with Meniscus trouble in the short term before surgery can be carried out.
To allow someone to carry on playing sport is there an injection available?

The meniscus problem generally is treated with arthroscopic debridement. Even though it has risks involved too, that is the only solution I knew. But better consult an orthopedic doctor. I guess there are injections available in the medical world for someone to carry on for sometime without going for invasive treatment, I guess the name of that injection is Synvisc. It is generally put in the knee for once in months depends on how long you don't have any pain. But this also your doctor should decide whether it is feasible for you or not.
