The Philippines is more known to foreigners as "Manila", but the capitol of the Philippines is Quezon City. Now we call all the surrounding cities of Quezon City as "Metro-Manila". A busy metropolis with varied cultures inherited mainly from the;Spaniards - traditions and christianity Americans - education and form of government Chinese - culinary culture Malay - ethnic & inherited dialects Arabs - part of the language. Have you been to, or would you like to travel to Manila? With all the influences from other countries that used to trade and colonized the nation, would you not find it exciting to visit? Or if you have been to Manila, what is your impression of the metropolis?

I also live in the Philippines. Lol. I say Makati is the place where money really flows. I live on the Souther part of Manila. Love it. Much more quiet than the northern parts. :)
