Which is family friendly and good jobs?

Hello, I'm from way south texas and thinking of moving into mid texas after college. I already have a daughter, so a good family neighborhood would be prefered! My husband is a graphic designer and that's one reason why we need to move from here because there is limited jobs to start his career. He wants San Antonio, whereas I want more suburb like maybe Kingsville, Corpus, San Marcos. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
