Why do people come here looking for advice

then only give the best answer to the one who agrees with them? Why bother asking for advice if you don't want it?

It might be that people do want advice and look at everything that is offered to them. Whether or not they take the advice offereed by others is up to them and so I would suggest that they give the best answer to the person whose response is closest to what they are actually thinking anyway.
