Iran should be watch out by the United Nations not by the US to avoid conflict. If there is a violation against the UN nuclear policy then Iran must be confronted by the UN council. So it is clear that US must not interfere it should be the United Nations.

Yeah, but all the UN will do is keep saying, "Stop it, I mean it." and then sit there since the US is the only part of the UN that actually commits any resources.

So we let them build the nukes anyways? right now they don't have nukes, they just want them. And don't be mistaken, they want them. They have tons of oil, they don't need alternate energy sources. There were also Highly enriched uranium and plutonium found in Iran that are only used for weapons.

For three whole decades Iran has been bullying the world and US. It all started with the Ayatolla returning from exile which emboldened the unruly people into exerting their own politics to substantiate the already charged up atmosphere with the clerics taking the front row in politics. But, there always was a sluggish Russia and China waiting to devour every step the US and its allied countries took Even Saddam became an obstacle in the way to taming Iran. Had he not come in the way of UN inspection etc and had he maintained a cordial relation with US etc, the entire picture of today's world would have been different.

Definitely Yes! It is the moral obligation of a Big Brother to look forward to the welfare of its younger brother nations, however, the US must do it in the spirit of diplomacy and respect.
