Are we committing self-destruction?

Are we the reason why the world is such a mess today? Of course we are, in fact the more we use cars, hairspray, freezers, and ciggarettes the more we destroy our planet. We need to find new ways to fulfill our needs.

Yes I think humans have become too clever, they have out smarted themselves, they have cut down the trees that are necessary for life, taken too much from this earth without putting anything back, all through greed and selfishness and now the future generations will have to pay for it because maybe it is too late.
