Is this driving anybody else crazy? I have checked about 20 discussionson mylot today and this one person has posted this reply all the time. If you haven't anything worthwhile to contribute to the discussion, then don't post just for the sake of boosting your points!!!

I haven't seen that one yet today but I've seen similar on many discussions. Worse though is the ones that say "I have no opinion." My thought is why bother posting it? We need to mark them down when we see those. I don't know how much good those minus marks do but at least it's something to do against them. If it does effect their points then maybe they will think twice about posting nonsense posts.

Thank you! I also hate those "no opinion" replies. My eyes are sore from raising them to heaven every time I see those.

I would report him for abuse. That's just not right. That's abusing the system in order to make more money.

I agree with you. This site is starting to lack more and more intelligant discussions lately. A few of us from here have been visiting another site similar to this that pays better and people are alittle more interesting. If interested check it out http://www.payposter.com/index.php?refer=krizz420 but other than that ya people have to quit trying to cheat the system here.

I searched for ages for decent discussions yesterday and there were very few. I had a look at payposter a while ago but until I hear from people who are getting paid, then I think I'll leave it for a while.

Yes, it's driving me up a tree, too. It's really not happening in my posts a lot, but I don't post a lot, mostly I reply to people...and that is where I notice it going on. I give those kinds of people the ole - unless it's really getting stupid, then I report. Thanks for giving me a place to vent.

No I like my discussion hope it earns me more!!! I don't care about boosting my points, (well not too much), what really annoys me are the ones which don't even do as much as that, I've seen several with only three words, with the last two words being single letter abbreviations, and a total of 5 letters, eg 'ow r u' I fail to see how you can have a meaningful discussion over that. Oh Dear!! I think I just have had a meaningful discussion over that topic. There should be a minimum number of words allowed to collect points from, simple as that.

Actually, that is part of an email that is going around. Find the letter p, then scroll down to a different bunch of letters like M and find the N. I don't know whether this is the place for something like that.

I didn't know that was an e-mail. Hmm.....it doesn't really make much sense here. LOL!

Your posts are so funny. I saw a new type of post today entitled "Finding the letter P". And then there were a whole heap of Os typed in the subject. I'm not sure if this is some form of abstract art. It runs right across the page. Or maybe it's poetic license.

Oh yes I have seen that and this drive me to nuts like pulling my hair as well that person too. Why one has to reply at all if he got no business to add any thing worth while? I think my lot should come up with negative marking for those who post their reply in this manner. I personally only participate in a discussion when I am sure what I am talking about or I am curious to know some thing.

It is frustrating to see these posts still on this site. You posted this discussion 3 months ago and I still see many people posting nonsense like "I don't know" or "Nice discussion", or "I'll have to think about it." The only resolution to this is to report them to MyLot.

yeah I have seen it and also find it annoying - we should all report it when we see it and give negative remarks for this when we can

Well I do like your discussions and I do hope you earn more !! Really. You put thought and effort into it and we need more of that here. I usually add a one liner comment back to the stupis posts or none at all and give a neg rating. If all the genuine users do this eventually they will be banned I hope.

I hope you earn more too. You're on my list of favourite "discusserereres" who post genuinely interesting discussions.

Yeah, I don't get this. Why respond to a discussion if you have nothing to say? I don't even open the posts unless something of interest catches my eye. One discussion suggested "Paying it Forward" - the word "Peace". Well of course every response was one word.

I just had the exact opposite happen...I was surfing along trying to get the lay of the land here when I saw it was somebody's birthday. I thought I'd just hop in and say "happy birthday christmas eve baby". Well, she had a posting that said she would give a negative response to anybody who posted a one liner. Needless to say she wont't get any birthday greetings from me. From what I see here so far, people from countries like yours and mine couldn't possibly earn enough money here to make leaving comments all over the place worthwhile (I've made enough for a cup of coffee so far - only not Starbucks) but people from some countries can buy a lot more with the money and they're into points. Can't really blame them. I notice a lot of the users are from India & Pakistan. We outsource a lot of computer tech jobs over there. They do the same work for $5 an hour an American does for $30 an hour. I assume they can afford a middle class life on that money. We mainly look on outsourcing as a necessary evil and maybe that's what one word responses are too.

Well I won't be posting on yours if you're one of those people who go around adding silly comments that add nothing to a discussion. I make no bones about admitting that those posters bug me big time.

That is such one of my pet peeves on here! I hate thinking "oh goody! I have a new response!" and then opening it and seeing, "I haven't read this book or seen this movie or tv show, so I can't comment on it". I get so tempted to rate them negatively, but since the last alert, I am afraid it will negatively impact my ratings and earnings. I abstain instead and just don't rate them at all. I agree, if you don't know anything about the topic, save your fingers and don't post!

Yes, I have seen the one person using this response to every topic on MyLot. Then there are the ones who say 'Yeah', and the others whoe say 'I agree'. I wonder if they think they will earn more money for these stupid remarks that does nothing for the person who posts the topic.

One day I was reading the comments on one of my discussions and they were all just wonderful comments. I gave them all a positive. I went to my next discussion and again, they were all sounding really good then I read one that I thought I had read before. I though I surely must be mistaken. I went to my next discussion and there it was again. This one person went to many of my discussions and copied and pasted the same comment. The sad thing is that it was a good comment and applied to all the discussions that they posted it to but it really made me mad. That person probably did not even read any of my discussions. What do they get out of doing this and I just hate those comments where they simply say that they agree, or at least I think that is what they are saying. They dont seem to be able to spell.
