I'm a city mouse so I prefer the urban life (and I don't think I can ever give up shopping and air conditioning and nice bathrooms), although once in a while I appreciate being able to have some R&R in the province--especially where there are beaches or at least nice scenery. Also rural areas have a more laid back atmosphere, which is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of hectic city life.

I was raised in a city to be exact the city of stars in philippines that was quezon city but every summer my mother really see to it that I went home to province to spend my summer there with relatives and childhood friends for two months. That is why I speak some native dialect fluently that's why my heart is divided into two city and province for thier are things in the city that you can't find in the province and there are certain things in the province that you can't find in the city so hard!!! That's why my husband and I decided to live not far away to city but you can consider it as a province for the place is safe from pollution and it was overlooking the lake and it is in rizal.

I prefer to live in the city for a changed. I had been born living in the city but things happen and my grandmother left my birthplace and bring me to a rural area. Right now were living in a rural area but it seems our town is more noisy just like in a city. What I don't like about living in rural area mostly of our neighbors are fond of gossips. People knew each other well and it was also the reason why people tends to gossip each other lives.

I think what you mean by "in a province" would be expressed as "in the country" here in the USA. We live out in the country, and it is wonderfully quiet. We also live on a beautiful lake. But, I'd prefer to live a bit closer to the city. It is about 20 minutes to any shopping and 15 minutes to the main highway. And, when traffic is good, it is 45 minutes to the main part of the big city. I don't like city living .. too much noise, too crowded and too much crime. And, it is expensive to find housing in the city, if you want a good neighborhood.

honestly, i prefer to live in my province pangasinan.fresh air, fresh vegetables and fruits and free from renting house.lol! in province you will no longer think of your monthly rent of your apartment, the monthly water consumption.in short less expenses.
