Slash (born Saul Hudson on July 23, 1965) is a British-American guitarist for the hard rock supergroup Velvet Revolver, and former lead guitarist for the rock band Guns N' Roses. He is known for his long curly black hair, his signature oversized top hat, his love for Jack Daniel's, and, usually, a cigarette dangling from his mouth.
