Parents should be held accountable for the rise in childhood obesity?

Or they should be tried for negligence?
What sort of legal repercussions hould parents who fail their childrens health (other than obesity caused by a genetic health problem of course) bee subject to?

They should let their children do something with their lives then just letting them sit around alot and not do much. Activities can help out and lessen the obesity.
