Guns and bombs - Unwanted inventions?!

I don't know whether it is just me, but I keep cursing the people who have invented and who are inventing these dangerous things. WHY? Okay, I do understand an useful kitchen knife can also be used dangerously, but why invent things that can be used only for destroying? And how much money are the people making manufacturing them? I am sure they are doing well. Sadly! People who share my thoughts, please respond.
