Back in the ancient days, what did people use to clean their teeth? Even today where there's no toothpaste available?Well what did people throughout the world before toothpaste was found use to clean their teeth(or brush).

In times in immemorial, people in India are using leaves from Mango tree and Neem tree to clean their teeth. Some people use charcoal powder.
