If all you ever said to her was "I like your discussion very much", I can understand why she would leave you. I would say that you do, perhaps, deserve to have a reason for her leaving. Maybe, though, she thought it was self-evident. Look critically at the way you treated her. If you behaved towards her as if she was an object or a belonging and did not treat her as a human being, then that could be the reason.
