Justice at last! Jessica Lal's murderer convicted.

The Delhi High Court today convicted Jessica Lal's murderer Manu Sharma under sec. 302 of IPC (murder).
Do you think that justice has finally prevailed?
Has this reinstated the people's faith in the Indian Judiciary?
The sentence will be announced at a later date. What do you think the sentence should be?

somehow i dnt think justice is served... it came too late... i dnt understand y it takes so many yrs for a sentence to be pronounced!

So true, justice delayed is justice denied, but atleast justice has finally prevailed.
As to your other question, it takes this long because of the elaborate procedures of the law. Nothing in law is assumed or understood, Everything has to be laid down or proved.
Looks like it will take much longer as the defence team (headed by Ram Jethmalani) is preparing for an appeal in the Supreme Court
