International phone calls for FREE.

I assume that most people using the Internet are using some kind of company via the Internet to make phone calls.
Just in case there is someone that isn't using one, I have been using Skype for a couple of years.
It is free if someone is already on skype & you call their skype number.
However you can also call land line numbers very cheaply.
Well worth a look if you dont know about it.
Bye the way, I dont get paid for promoting, but it may save you money.

Well, it's not really international phone calls. You only get to call SKYPE subscribers for free. But you can't call from SKYPE to landline or cellphone for free. But SKYPE has been so useful to me. My boyfriend and I are in 2 different places now and we talk and see each other through skype.

When my partner was in the Philippines & I was in New Zealand.
I paid for her subscription as well so now we are both on Skype
But beware of calling cellphones, they can be more expensive.
The more information we can give on here, we can help a lot more people save money.

I've just started using skype. I use it to call up phones in the US and the rates are really cheap - works out to about Re. 1 per minute. The voice clarity etc are quite good.
I also found it easy to install and fund my account with MoneyBookers.
Planning to make quite a few calls during the Christmas season!

Great, I found the rate depends on the country you are calling TOO.
For instance if I call from New Zealand to Philippines it is about 14cent a minute.
If I call TO new Zealand from Philippines it is just over 1 cent a minute.
(I havent got the exact rate here but you can follow my thinking.)
Its 14 X more.
