Everyone has done something they regret. It may have no impact on anything else or it may have life changing consequences. What would you change and why?

I don't regret a thing!...sure in some perspective I have done alot of stupid stuff, wasted alot of money and stuff...BUT..it makes me who I am now. Fortunately my inner me was listening and learning from it all and now I am doin GREAT and LUV'N life again, so if my past got me here I have NO REGRETS! I think mankind should focus on their future not so much on the past, it is always right there behind us...we could access it for learning from it whenever we need it...so why let regret "eat at you"...we are better off without it. peace Dissposition

I would change my shyness. When I still very young I rarely communicating with everyone. It feels I am too introverted with conditions beside me, but I still didn't know why. Maybe I'm just afraid to tell anything to everyone. Now I'd left my shyness but I still cannot forget what I was doing in my past. I want to change my lonely and sad life in the past.

I do have some regrets, but I would hesitate to change anything. Even my most negative experiences have helped me to be stronger as a person and shaped who I am today.

While I believe that everyone has done something they regret, I am not sure that I would want to change anything in my life. I have come to view the past as that which has shaped who I am and the future. The decisions we make are constantly having an effect on our lives. I am 45 soon to be 46 and while I would like to have more money, a better job, etc., I am satisified with my life.

I'd say I regret making the same mistakes and not being more self-aware and observant of other people (intra- and interpersonal skills). "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." That really does apply to me three, no- four, no- five, no- six...etc. times. It's fine to get out of shape once, but not when you do it more than that unless you're experimenting with diets and schedule-stuffing or role-taking on purpose.
