Do you know which one is better, a laptop or a desktop?

Lap top is used by businessman or important Govt. executive during his travel or conference to carry information he stored from his office. Desktop is best for office and home as it is powerful,speedy than lap top.

yeah, it depends. If you often travel,and you have to use computer, you may buy a laptop.generally speaking, lap tops are much expensive than desk tops. some times, some young people buy laptop just for showing themselves off. I prefer desktop. Cos desktops canbe easily upgraded,and the hardwares of desktops are much cheaper. No professionals are needed to do the upgrading. As to a laptop, you have to get assistance from some expert.

I think that the answer depends on what you are looking at doing. I prefer my desktop since the memory is so much larger than my husband's laptop and he prefers the convenience of being able to take his laptop anywhere.

If u are not a business man and didn't travel much with ur presentations to show ur clients....The I would recommend Desktop is better than Laptop... But if u need the above the its better for u to go for Laptop...

I like a desk top better. My nephew gave my son a laptop and he loves it,i hate the mouse on it,it always seems to go crazy.

I love my desktop - Compaq Presario, Pentium D. My husband love his laptop - Sanyo Vaio. I feel that my desktop is ergonomic to use compared to a laptop. The keys are tiny and the mouse is miserably small to navigate. My husband thinks his Vaio is just perfect and takes less space. I think it's because my husband is Huge compared to me and that's why we tend to choose something that is not quite like us. Opposites attract! *wink* - Lyn
