beauty parlors and stuffs...

how do you pamper yourself? i don't usually go to beauty parlors and have my hair treated. i do this once a year. then i take care of my hair to keep it shiny on my own. i don't pay a person to give me a manicure and a pedicure. i do it myself. i wish to go to a massage parlor so i can have my body pampered. how about you? do you visit pampering places?

i love pampering myself. i go to parlors once a month, have my hair treated (hotoil), have my brows waxed.
i go to nail salon every two weeks or twice a month to have my nails and toenails done, foot spa.
once a week, there is a massage therapist who visits me at my place for body massage.
i go to my dermatologist once a month for my diamond peel.

In the Philippines, I go to these places because it's way cheaper. But here in Canada, I can't afford it so I was forced to do it alone. It always amazes me that their cheap haircut is $15 and in the Philippines we can get our hair cut done for only 60 pesos = $1 USD.
I always get a headaches comparing prices here. Now I don't do it anymore as I just get frustrated. I become stingy:)+

yep. when my boyfriend came over here to visit me, he was so amazed how low the prices here are compared to sweden. he shopped till he dropped. and it was fun to see him enjoying his shopping! and well, you can do it all when you come here for a visit.

I do very little to pamper myself so to speak. It is way too expensive to pay someone to do what I can do for just pennies. I save my money to entertain me in other ways, like noce vacations. I have thought about going to a spa one day just to see if I would enjoy it and see if it is something I feel I need. Then I think about how much of a waste it is. I will just continue to do all the things necessary for myslef until I get too old and then I will go and pamper myself out of need.

No, not really. Wish I had enough time...I go to beauty parlors only when I have the mood lol. Actually it's boring being there for too long. I didnt have enough patience to get my hair dyed! lol. And I usually get my self pampered when I am travelling to the bigger cities. I live in a small town and doesnt really have good parlors. The rest, just like you, I do it all at home. I have all my beauty tools lol. Cheers!

I visit beauty parlor once or twice a year just to give my hair a hair cut and give my hair some treatment because my hair look so frizzy that's why I need to let the beautician handle the problems on my hair. I also don't know how to put some hair treatments on my hair that is why I can't do it my self. I try to put some hot oil treatment on my hair and I do it myself but I feel nothing change so I have no choice but to go to parlor.
