I am a number one fan of many Indie films, how about you? I like the total creativity and out of the box concepts the indie films are showcasing.

I like INDIE films, I wanted to be involve in a production of an indie film, have so many concepts also to develop but don't have the finances to start with.
so how about you? when would you start your obra maestro?

Me and some friends are always on the look out for interesting indie films, a lot more entertaining than some big budget flicks, way more refreshing. Really got lucky with Pagdadalaga ni Maxi. We're trying to grab a copy of Lav Diaz's Batang West Side and movies by Jeffrey Jeturian, also that Cinemalaya Best Picture awardee Tulad ng Dati. Looking forward to see how The Dawn's acting went.hehe.. You might also want to check out a movie that was directed by the same director from Pagdadalaga, Aureus I think was the first name, it was entitled Tuli.

I got updates also from cinemalaya everyday and was able to watch from time to time in up film institute (film center)

That's great! Too bad, we don't have that system here in Davao, though. Got any new indie movies that you can suggest. I'll just try to grab a copy any way I can. =p

Yes, I enjoy indie films because it gives an alternative to mainstream movies that are coming out everyday. In the Philippines we have many really good Indie films that won awards abroad like Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Olivares (The Blossoming of Maximo Olivares) and Krabador (The Bet Collector).

yeah I have watched the two indie film I like Jeffrey Jeturian's Kubrador and Bunso, the documentary film of a prisoner kid in the Visayas and a lot more. Well, big foot is having a hollywood bootcamp reality show featuring 8 pinoys to showcase their talents in filmmaking to be shot in LA, hope they did well.

what is great watching Indie films is the very artistic and out of the box ways of story telling in a movie.
